Macquarie University—Hamburg
Macquarie University and Universität Hamburg have been cooperating since the 1990s. On the basis of their long and fruitful cooperation, both universities concluded a strategic partnership in 2012. This partnership involves all faculties. There has also been an exchange program for students and researchers since 2012. This aims to strengthen and expand relations between the partners. A structured doctoral program was also established. Since 2013, the DAAD has supported the trilateral network between Macquarie University in Sydney, Fudan University in Shanghai, and Universität Hamburg (MQ-FU-HAM). So far, 12 subprojects have been established within the context of the network.
As part of the Joint Program described below, doctoral researchers can do their doctoral studies at both Macquarie University and Universität Hamburg.

- academic supervisor at Universität Hamburg
- supervisor at the partner university
